Our mission is guided by our strategic plan which defines our core values and sets forth our vision with clearly defined strategies and goals. Through outreach and collaboration with various organizations, we strengthen and maximize the quality of life in Carondelet. In carrying out our mission, the Carondelet Community Betterment Federation (CCBF) has a social and economic development focus as reflected in its 21st Century Carondelet Strategic Plan. OUTREACH: Our Outreach program offers many services to address the needs of low-income families and individuals, including: • Emergency food Pantry at 6408 Michigan Ave. Open on MWF from 8:30am -11:45am • Providing home repairs for income-qualified senior and disabled homeowners ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: This program focuses on: • Investing and coordinating activities in the low- and moderate-income housing industry • Marketing Carondelet to the region as an area for business opportunity • Promoting existing commercial, industrial/warehouse and retail businesses and their products • Producing special events such as the summer concert series in Carondelet Park and other area parks • Supporting the Community Gardens and Food Forest • Expanding investor success in housing developments and the initiation of new warehouse/ office projects • Increasing the use of the Great Rivers Greenway cycling paths in the Carondelet Area Executive Director Fred Hessel Jr. fhessel@ccbf6408.org 752-6339 CarondeletLiving.com Facebook.com/CarondeletLiving1
