Cinco de Mayo: A Cherokee Street Festival Saturday, May 3, 2025 An annual tradition with a long history, Cinco de Mayo Festival on Cherokee Street has evolved into a celebration of community and one of the largest and most diverse festivals in the St. Louis area. Each year, the festival brings together more than 40,000 attendees and 100 vendors to celebrate the rich culture and spirited, eclectic community within the Cherokee neighborhood and surrounding South City area. The festival packs six blocks of Cherokee Street from Nebraska to Jefferson avenues with three stages of live music, authentic food and drink, art and merchandise. The parade starts at Michigan and Cherokee streets promptly at 1:11pm and heads east through Benton Park West. Cherokee Street Caravan Memorial Day, 2025 Kickoff the summer season at Caravan, a St. Louis tradition, where we host more than 100 regional vendors peddling their unique wares in a festive atmosphere.
