22 2024-2025 | CHEROKEE STREET Community Directory Citizens’ Service Bureau The Citizens’ Service Bureau is the customer service department for the city of St. Louis. To register a complaint with the Citizens’ Service Bureau: • Call 314-622-4800 between 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday • Send a tweet to @stlcsb • Use the web form at stlouis-mo.gov/services (Select “report a problem”) • Download the SLMPDMobile app which allows you to submit crime tips, report problems, and request services from the CSB Problems that deal with city services should be reported to the CSB, including refuse collection, street maintenance, traffic control signals and signs, street lights, requests for building and health inspections, stray or vicious dogs, accumulations of trash and weeds, graffiti, air pollution, defective public sidewalks, maintenance in city parks and recreation facilities, and other city service problems. If you don’t know if your complaint can be handled by CSB, give them a call at 622-4800 for clarification or referral information. Have the exact address or location of the problem you are reporting available and give an accurate description of the problem. The CSB will give you a reference number which you can use to check the status of your complaint. BRIGHTSIDE 314-772-4646 / brightsidestl.org Founded in 1982, Brightside cleans up neighborhoods, streets, alleys and vacant lots around the city. Through initiatives like Blitz clean-ups, graffiti removal, and its recycling center, Brightside is making St. Louis a cleaner, brighter and better place to live. Brightside will remove graffiti on private property for free! Simply go to the Brightside website at brightsidestl.org, complete the graffiti consent form and send it in. Brightside also removes graffiti on public property such as in parks and on Dumpsters. Report it to the Citizens’ Service Bureau.
