2024 | Clayton Community Directory 8 Clayton 2024 Events Clayton is known as one of the best places, if not THE best place, in the region to live, work and play. Businesses are attracted to Clayton because it is accessible and centrally located; because it is safe and well maintained; because it maintains a unique balance between the vibrant business community and premier residential living. Enhancing the city’s quality of life and adding culture to its long list of amenities is an exciting special events calendar. New events have been added to an already amazing schedule of events. Citizens and visitors to Clayton are encouraged to shop and dine in Clayton, and to enjoy as many of the city’s exciting events as possible. Below are some highlights: • Clayton Restaurant Week in January and again in July…no passes to buy, coupons to carry or cards to punch, just visit the participating restaurant of your choice. • St. Louis CITY SC Home Opener will be our annual MLS home opener event in Clayton! Held in late February/early March. • Cardinals Home Opener offers lunch-break fun for the opening Cardinals baseball game. City Hall hosts lunch, giveaways and special guests. Held in late March/early April. • Picnic in the Park is a free event for all ages on the first Sunday in June with activities such as live music, a bubble bus, bounce houses, crafts, lawn games and food trucks. • Music & Wine Festival is an evening filled with delicious wine and musical performances set on Brentwood Boulevard (new location!) on the second Saturday in June. • Parties in the Park , the after-work party, features live music in Downtown Clayton on the second Wednesday of each month May through September. • Musical Nights in Oak Knoll Park on the fourth Sunday in June, July, August and September are sponsored by the Clayton Century Foundation and feature local bands. • Saint Louis Art Fair is held on the second full weekend in September in Downtown Clayton and continues to be ranked among the top fine art events in the country. • Clayton Jazz Festival is an evening filled with smooth jazz and delicious food and beverage options set on Brentwood Boulevard (new location!) in late September. • Party in the Patch on the third Friday in October celebrates fall in Shaw Park for adults and kids age 14 and under with games, crafts, inflatables, hay rides and hotdogs. • Blues Home Opener offers lunch-break fun for the opening Blues hockey game.
