HollyHills Directory 2026
14 2026 | Holly Hills Directory Safety In 2025, the Special Business District (SBD) continued to make safety and security a top priority by building on relationships with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) and the SBD’s security contractor. During the year, security patrols interrupted car break-ins and responded to suspicious activity. In our continued efforts to increase the lines of communication between residents and the members of the Safety & Security Committee, the Holly Hills Special Business District established an email inbox that community members may use to submit comments or provide feedback related to the ongoing security patrols. Email hhsbdsafety@gmail.com to report incidents or observations that affect the safety and security of Holly Hills. (NOTE: This inbox is not regularly monitored. To report an incident immediately, call 911 or the non-emergency number at 314-231-1212) The inbox will be used to collect resident-reported incidents and share them directly with our hired security patrols and the captain of the 1st District to better serve the residents of Holly Hills. Emailing this inbox does not guarantee increased patrol presence but the information will be used by the HHSBD to make recommendations to the SLMPD and The City’s Finest, our current private security contractor. Please be sure to include the following details: • Location (intersection or street name and number) • Date and time • Brief description of the incident • Description of suspect(s) • Description of vehicle • Any additional relevant details To get the best response to an active safety incident, call 911 or the non-emergency line at 314-231-1212. When the hired security patrols are on duty, they will respond to calls for service that come through police dispatch. When the security patrols are not on duty, responsibility falls back to the regular SLMPD officers on duty. Lastly, calling 911 or the non-emergency line creates a record of a Call-for-Service originating from Holly Hills, which affects patrol activity. If you don’t call in an incident, the Police Department won’t know issues exist in our neighborhood.
