16 2026 | Holly Hills Directory Park Gates The installation of security gates in the park was one of the first major projects completed by the Special Business District. The gates were among residents’ top priorities in the run-up to the SBD vote. The gates at each of the six street entrances to the park are closed from 10 pm to 6 am to deter drag racing, vandalism, and other criminal activity in the park. The roads are also closed the first week of the month beginning on the first Monday, and as has been the case for several years, most of the roads are closed each Tuesday evening in the spring and summer for bike racing. For 2026, the gates will be closed on Tuesday evenings from March 10 through August 25. It’s important to note that the park closes at 10 pm each night.
