30 2026 | Holly Hills Directory Friends of Carondelet Park carondeletpark.org info@carondeletpark.org In March 2001, a small group of parents and neighbors were concerned about the playground located in Carondelet Park. The neighbors organized a playground committee and after working with local officials, plans for the new playground began to take shape. It opened in November 2001. What began as a playground committee grew into Friends of Carondelet Park (FoCP). Its mission is to ensure the park remains the centerpiece of the area and to accelerate improvements. The goal is to provide a family-friendly environment where visitors will enjoy recreational activities and be inspired by the historical legacy and unique natural habitat of one of St. Louis’ oldest and most beautiful parks.
