Using locally grown feed products, the animals in our care are not fed any antibiotics or hormones and are not implanted. 3501 Watson Rd. 314-766-4410 waubonsieridgebeef.com Trash Tips for City Living TRASH Dumpsters are BROWN • Place trash in bags before putting it in Dumpsters • Do not lean bulk trash items against Dumpsters or leave items within 3 feet of Dumpsters • Dumpsters won’t be emptied if bulk items are left too close to them YARD WASTE Dumpsters are GREEN • DO NOT BAG • Acceptable items include grass clippings, leaves, etc. • Limbs and branches over 3 feet long or 1 foot in diameter should not be placed in the yard waste Dumpster. These can be set out for monthly bulk pick up RECYCLING Dumpsters are BLUE • DO NOT BAG • Items that can be recycled include: • Paper and flattened cardboard • Plastic bottles and containers #1-5 and #7 (no #6) • Metal food and beverage cans, aluminum foil • Milk and other cartons • Glass bottles and jars • Items that CANNOT be recycled include: • Styrofoam and any other items marked #6 • Food waste • Glass dishes • Plastic bags of any kind - Even if they have a recycle number on them! Bags caught in recycling machinery may injure workers and damage the equipment. Some types of plastic bags can be recycled at grocery stores. For more information on what can and can’t be recycled, go to stlcityrecycles.com BULK items • Pick up is the 4th Monday of the month. Items will be picked up that week. • Items should be placed behind your own property on Sunday evening before pick-up. (Check the schedule on the blue Dumpster) • Residents can set out up to three items including • Furniture and appliances (refrigerators must have doors removed) • Bundles of large limbs or branches • Motor vehicle batteries, oil, and tires • Electronics Contact Citizen’s Service Bureau at 314-622-4800 for problems with Dumpsters, bulk trash pick-up, or illegal dumping Source: City of St. Louis Refuse Division
