Lindenwood Park Directory 2024

2024 | Lindenwood Park Community Directory 26 The Green Team The Lindenwood Park Neighborhood Association participates in the Missouri Department of Transportation “Adopt a Highway” program, as we endeavor to keep Missouri Highways and specifically our neighborhood clean of litter and trash. We are responsible for the exit at Jamieson Avenue and Highway 44, and the half mile preceding the exit, on the south side of the highway. The team has been holding quarterly cleanups since the spring of 2008 – 15 years! MODOT supplies trash bags and orange safety vests for this ongoing project. They will also pick up the bags of trash once collected. Participants need to bring gloves and tools, and a little energy. We report the number of participants and bags of trash and debris collected, which goes into the statewide database. As active participants in the program, there is a sign marking the 44/ Jamieson exit as the Lindenwood Park Green Team cleanup area. It is important to keep the main entrance to our neighborhood presentable. Please consider volunteering when possible. There are four scheduled pickup events in 2024. All events are weather permitting and take place at 9 am on the following Saturdays: { April 20 | June 1 | September 7 | November 2 } If you are interested in participating, please contact Tim Nowell at tim@lindenwoodpark.org or 314-704-1547.
