The popular CWE Window Walk will be held on three Satur- days, Dec. 7, 14 and 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. on CWE streets. Neighbor- hood businesses will decorate their windows and offer special promo- tions. AC Hotel will offer four new holiday cocktails. On Dec. 2, Left Bank Books will present story time with a local children’s author every hour on the hour. For more info, visit cwescene.com. Grace United Methodist Church, 6199 Waterman Blvd., will have a Children’s Christmas Pag- eant and dinner Dec. 8, plus more events. Visit graceumc-stl.org. First Church of Christ, Scientist, 5000 Westminster Place, will have a spe- cial lecture, “Be Set Free,” at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. Call (314) 367-3527. Second Presbyterian Church, 4501 Westminster Place, will have “Lessons & Carols” on at 5:30 p.m. Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. And at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis , the “new” Cathedral at 4431 Lindell Blvd., Cathedral Concerts will fea- ture Christmas at the Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 7, and at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 8. The Missouri History Museum is having a launch for their new book, “The Wonder and Complexity of the 1904 World’s Fair,” on Dec. 5, 6:30 p.m. Authors will discuss not only the visual spectacle of the Fair, but also the challenging cultural and racial factors. Once the home of Mary Institute and later, Lutheran High School, it was formed in 1969 and serves students from age 3 through sixth grade.
