careful and considerations are given and
much knowledge is gained about the family
background. This truly is one of our most
important services to our neighborhood
and to our community as a whole. The
Golden Age Club, with about seventy five to
a hundred members, may have a few more
come to a party but regular meetings are
held each Wednesday. With the opening of
the Webbe Apartments for the elderly, an
additional number of Senior Citizens needed
to be served. To meet this need, Kingdom
House sent a staff person to the project to
organize trips and recreation, activities both
in and out of the building. More recently,
a Drop In Lounge has been set up in the
Darst Project for the elderly that live
there. Volunteer hostesses from Kingdom
House assist in the operation of the lounge.
Senior Citizens also have formed their own
orchestra which is facing a great demand
for their services in various organizations,
churches and other groups. Children’s and
teenage clubs are also an important part of
the work because there is a large population
