of both school age children and teenagers in the neighborhood and
there are few wholesome places where they can go and very many
unwholesome ones. In the housing projects, children are not allowed
to play on the grass and the lawns; consequently this gives them only
the streets were it not for the services provided by Kingdom House.
We also have a club of young mothers who need to get out of the
house once in awhile to have some fun or just to sit and talk with
their friends and neighbors. Craft and sewing classes are provided
for them each Tuesday morning and volunteers from our Woman’s
Society groups come down to baby sit for them while the meetings
are held. They in turn help with projects around Kingdom House
